Facilities
The facilities at the Rover Memorial Chalet includes a large conference/dining room. This room contains a slow combustion heater for winter nights, a World War II memorial, as well as a pictorgraphic history of the Chalet and the area. In the main building there is also a Leader's Lounge (with phone), a kitchen, and down stairs there are large male and female toilets and showers with a separate hot water service.
The newly renovated kitchen is all electric, with commercial type cooking range, toasters, refrigerator, electric urn, all crockery and cooking utensils for up to 40 people. An electric hot water service ensures a plentiful supply of hot water.

Close to the chalet there is an electric barbecue with two hotplates, which use has no extra charge.
As well as being extremely picturesque, the grounds of the Rover Memorial Chalet include a large parade ground area with a flag pole as well as an outside chapel, that can be used for Scout's Own, meetings, or other events and ceremonies.
